My neighbors down the block just got the red ring of death on theirs, after having the system just over a year. They've been playing...guess what? Halo 3.

Ah well. I'll likely be getting Bioshock for Christmas, so that should tide me over until prices go down again, or there are enough games to convince me to get a PS3 instead.
