I concur. It's a sad state of mind, but most television shows are too mind numbingly inaccurate and far fetched to be worth watching, for me at least.

24 I think is ok, but after the first two seasons it's just like Alias, good fun, but we all know how it's going to end despite loving the action and suspense.

Bones and CSI may be interesting Mysteries, but in the long run the story doesn't matter, just their rating for that week/month/whatever.

Dancing with Celeberties and Reality TV may be good "real life" channels, but we all know people are gonna fight and yell before the end is near.

Point being, I only judge most shows based on comedic value because I can take laughing reapetidely all /whatever/ long in opposition to my brain screaming of inaccuracies and believability's of other shows. Not that the other shows are bad, I just usually can't stand them.

So if Pushing Daises ends up being good, I'll go ahead and give it another shot. Just like any other show.
