Well, they've already raised the age-limit on active recruiting and called people back to active duty from reserve status...they don't have much else to fall back on aside from diverting more troops from other areas.

I don't see Bush pushing that though; he's still trying to scramble to leave himself a "legacy." He'll leave the Iran mess to the incoming administration, I think, barring any major escalation of U.S.-Iran tensions.
