What?! No option for survival horror games?!

I jest, of course...besides, more then any other type of game, I favour role playing games the most.

Even if the majority of them feature a ragtag band of young prepubescent children off to fight some dark, long forgotten god which arises once more, and have never had sexual intercourse yet...I truly enjoy to delve into the game play mechanics, and above everything...

...looting chests and stealing items from enemies! Were I to be in an actual role playing game, I believe that I would be a thief. *Steals this thread.*

I also love survival horror games, my most favourite series being Silent Hill.

And, although the following, aside from the progressive incorporation of significant role playing elements, does not truly count as any of my favoured types of games...the Castlevania series remain a part of my most loved series ever.
