I totally forgot they didn't use CGI for animation in 1995. Makes the difference, huh?

The rundown is, they are remaking the series into 4 movies. The first three will be a rework of the show, mostly look, some scenes and story tweeks (mainly Kaworu will be introduced earlier). And the fourth will be either a different ending or one that just makes more sense.

Previous fans will note that most of the trailer was done almost scene for scene from the series, just better looking. And the slight redesign of unit 01.

"Evangelion: 1.0 You are (not) alone" hits Japanese Theaters September 1. It should be online within a month. Maybe they'll release them in the US!
