There were 4 lurks that lived in the town of duradan that were sent to uncover the mystery behind the mutalistic murders and cannabalism in the city and it's surrounding habitats. If you didn't know, a lurk is a psionic, a lightly armoured warrior capable of reading an enemies weakness, therefore a very resourseful assassin. The four lurks were known as May, Charlis, Samuel, and Corrina. They set out on their adventure into the forest with 3 days supply of food and water, and the appropriate sleeping materials. Each of the warriors was equipped with but not limited to a scmitar and a vest made of tightly interwoven leather strands, a vest known as a courd.
One day in they caught the unmistakable trail of blood leading toward the town of palmisva, so they followed it, and on their trek they found the skeletons of forest creatures and humans alike sucked dry, like how the corpse would look after a pride of bloodthirsty cats had their fill on a helpless zebra. Each one of the psionics began to regret undertaking this mission, that was except for May Rivenword. May was tall for a female, six feet even to be exact. She wore a magical bracelet around her left wrist and a red ribbon around her right. The red ribbon was a symbol, representing the blood that was spilled when this crazed murderer came to her town and killed her entire family with no thought or ponder at all. May Rivenword would return to Duradan with the old man's head, regardless of whether her companions travelled on with her or not. She would hold it high above the walls of Duradan, she would march around the city with his head on the end of her sword and she would laugh just as he did when he slaughtered her family.
