What they "WANT" You may feel above it, or maybe you just couldn't afford the hunk of metal and plastic. Those that could though weighed the costs of doing it or not doing it and felt that it was something worthwhile to do.

And a lot of those people are now regretting making that mistake.

Just because you don't, doesn't make them cattle. Cattle don't have a choice, and if the real reason for why you wont buy a 360 or whatever until the price comes down is because you cant afford it, that makes you closer to being cattle than those people you dislike. They had a choice to buy or not, you had no choice. Not to buy.
