| Buying a Wii -
06-08-07
So, yesterday i was in Milton Keynes in the big shopping centre they call the "centre:MK" and in between calls i walked into Game, and walked into Gamestation (the fuckers are about 20m away from eachother) and i spied myself the Wii section, and looked around, checked out the prices, and thought "hmm"
i thought so very hard about buying one from game, i spied the section, talked to a guy, and decided i'd think about it while doing my next call.
i walked down to gamestation, and then found out i could get one in gamestation with another game for hardly anything more. about £20 more i think. making sure i wasn't caught by the guy there for another discussion and getting myself even more persuaded by him as well i decided to get out and go to work.
afterwards i found myself strolling up to gamestation. i had to tear myself away. i really did.
so, i got home, looked around on the net, talked to people, and i want to know...
who owns a wii?
what are the perks of having a wii?
what are the games replay values?
which games to get?
if i have a 360 should i REALLY be getting myself one as well?
how much fun actually are they?
i'm thinking of getting one with wiisports (obviously) and zelda, another wiimote (possibly getting wiiplay as well, but i'm told this isnt any good on replay... comments please? ) and another game.
so, games i'm looking at...
redsteel
sonic and the secret rings
rayman crazy bunnies game
apparently redsteel is a letdown, though i'm lookin at that...
and that sonic isn't as good as it should be,
and i'm not sure whether i'll like the rayman bunnies game enough after playing through the games once. i know it's a whole bundle of minigames, i'd like comments on the replay of those.
also, how much storage space is on the console for virtual games? how many can i get on there, and how are they stored?
i'd like to go into a store and try one out really. i spose i will have to this weekend.
but yes... persuade me to buy a wii. |
