LOTR plays great and looks *fantastic*, with enough quests and side-quests to make grinding totally unnecessary. So far, my only real beefs have to do with the fact that the game is still young: the economy is kind of retarded right now, the professions system is vastly different from WoW (and therefore confuses me), and the huge number of brand new players means that a lot of the lower-level zones have tons of people in them. It's basically the same thing that happened with Hellfire Peninsula when BC first came out, only not quite that bad.
I suppose that what I like the most is the fact that the game stays true to the lore, and therefore has a very prominent plot that actually makes sense. I'm not a big LOTR nerd, but the fact that your own character's travels and quests will often intersect with the main plot of the novels is really cool.
I'm sure I'll be playing this one for a while. I still play WoW since so many of my friends are on there, but since I don't want to raid, I'm running out of stuff to do.
