that's what makes the bible stories so entertaining, the violence, trials, tribulations and the shifting from a God of war and destruction to one of love and forgiveness...yet, through it all humanity comes out better off and stronger, no longer slaves of egypt but generations of tribes under Israel.
and i'm not being sarcastic frog and there was nothing easy about swaying me, it took three very clever men one with an amazing amount of knowledge based in messianic jewish teachings to make me even consider it could be a world as wonderful as that i found in the occult...believing is easy and something i always have done, this is the first challenge i've face in my beliefs, understanding something that i've hated for so long, and embracing it...you may call it weak minded, but at least i have the mind to challenge and question my own beliefs, respecting other for theirs, willing to consider the possibilty i'm wrong, and flexible enough to change, when it's been proven i'm wrong.
if you prove to me God does not exist...than perhaps i'll change my mind, how can i argue with unquestionable proof...but until then i'm going by what i feel is best for my life and spirituality, having made the choice aware of other possibilities. what validates your belief that there's nothing out there, more so than those who believe there is?
