say what you will about christianity, it's sure less complicated...all i need is a book and prayer to keep my God happy, i've always loved to read exciting stories and thinking about their potential lesson naturally follows, finish with an amen and i've fufilled my contractual obligations of worship.  |
Well actually speaking of that book, check out these two books in the back: Exodus, and Leviticus, particularly Leviticus; they detail a rite that went far beyond the norse blood sacrifice or even satanic animal sacrifice, the God of the hebrews made them walk through the desert, and their rite required gold, and various exotic incense, and that's only the icing, I remember reading of at least 200 other things that were required and must be executed perfectly, with their life dangling on the line. Your God died on a cross, he made a sacrifice so you wouldn't have to ;]
