I think its actually a pretty nobel thing to do for a father for his daughter. Every girl I have ever met who was a total mess had a father who didnt give a rats ass about her or who left... Father is an important figure in a young kids life, especially for girls who base thier future decisions on men for relationships on thier fathers relationship with them growing up wether they realize it or not.
