I have major respect for our customer service dept.. No matter what the call ("I forgot my grocery bag in the trunk of my car for two days; is my raw ground beef still safe to eat?"), even if the customer is clearly at fault, the cust. serv. people have to send vouchers for replacement meat.
Other folks call my department worried b/c their checks haven't arrived across the country in, say, four days. They expect us to request a stop payment (~$30) AND overnight a new check (another ~$30). I sit next to a gal who falls all over herself to do it for them too, which about makes me sick. |
