This is my newest one - please give me feedback... arioch blessings Smother me, infant
Once birthed
I have perished among the sinister waves of my existence
To be loved as an infant –
Innocent, ever-changing
I would have surrendered my life to that feeling of contentment
“It was me in that womb!”
Oh red heaven return to me!
I was immaculate in scarlet
Dressed in the finest virtuousness
Smother me, infant…
That fateful night
When I begged you for love and you begged me for lust
Piercing heaven with the most excellent longing
Chaining me to the ground when all you show me is stars
Days later making me beg to be set free
Begged to be entered with one hand and released with the other
But bliss did not return to me
It was my first breath which revisited me…
The worthlessness, pulling me down now
The knowledge of deteriorating in a cracked skin –
A skin once delicate, precious, touched –
Is inconceivable…
Submitting to a moment of gratified desire
Unthinking that purity could be spent so easily
Smother me, reflected infant…
© The Bride Do you know how a falcon is trained my dear? Her eyes are sown shut. Blinded temporarily she suffers the whims of her God patiently, until her will is submerged and she learns to serve - as your god taught and blinded you with crosses. |
