What I meant by the green party's environmentalist strategy being conservative is very simple. They seem to want us all to drive bikes or horse and carriage. First of all I don't think that's realistic and second it's dumb. Humans can be very smart. I'm sure they can come up with an environmentally-friendly source of energy that would allow us to fly to work superfast jets etcetera. We cant use nuclear energy for this kind of thing. The other liberal commies dont want us too, they dont want us building any new reactors either. Apparently we are to survive on wind and solar power for ALL needs even though they are hopelessly inadequate.
