Different wars call for different strategies. I think that if Iraq was as powerful as the US and was a true threat then it would have been carpet bombed and nuked. But I don't know... is the reason for not carpet bombing everyone we don't like really due to "morals"? It's just a different strategy. If we started carpet bombing and nuking stuff then that would be much worse for us that what we're already stuck in.
