I go with a more sociological approach along with the idea of social deviance on what evil is. Read cows pigs wars and witches if you like to read up on this kind of stuff its really neat.

So, the theory this guy presents for why some cultures dont eat pig and other taboos is not simply becuase the religion does not condone it. The areas where these cultures who ban pigs start tend to be in the middle east (forgive the vaugeness of it, it's been a while). These people did not live in huge massive cities or have vast amounts of wealth. They were substistance living.

So why not pigs? pigs eat the same things as humans, they are an example of interspecific competition (intraspecific being two humasn competing) for the same rescources. It wasnt advantagouse to raise animals that used the same food supply which was limited to whatever technology of agriculture happened to be at that time so it wasnt done.

This relates, i promise. So evil are things that do not benefit society. Take cannibleism, humans have the exact correct nucleic acids, proteins, lipids, and in the correct proportions as the next humans 99% of the time. So why not just eat people? because its not really a stable society if you cant go outside to work and grow food if you're afraid of being eaten. So killing someone and eating them then becomes taboo and evil. The original reasoning behind it may fade as the common acceptance is more habit than anything else.
wrong

GOOD and evil exist.

You are so dissaciciated from life and from other people that there is no point in discussing this with you.

My first post in this thread stands.

Read it.

it is very simple.

Read it again.

If you cannot understand the difference between GOOD and evil: I cannot help you.
