I don't think most gifts are holiday-specific, and you're obviously not going to give,say, a Santa figurine to someone who celebrates Hannukah; if you're aware of the time of their holiday, I'd think you'd give your gift near that occasion. Probably would avoid buying something specifically for thier holiday unless you really understand it. I'd have no idea what to give someone for Kwanzaa, for example, or it cold be sacriligious to give candles or chocolate coins or whatever to someone who celebrates Hannukah. |
