I'll give you a hypothetical question. What if a mob of fanatical Egyptian muslims started attacking museums, and destroying the contents? We have an aircraft carrier in the Mediteranean at all times. Would you be for or against a wholesale massacre of people with bombs to prevent the destruction of statues and monuments?

So what should we do if that happens? We did nothing when the Taliban rolled a platoon of T-55s up into the mountains and blew the thousand year old Buddha statue off the side of a cliff with the main guns of the tanks.

I also know several Coptic Christians who've told me their tales of Egypt, land of sunshine and lollipops. They have a church in the neighborhood my grandparents live in, and I work with several of them.
