Just keep in mind that some of the best modern writers have been willing to appear in their works in a capacity other then a narrorator blessed with preternatural omnipotence. Certainty of outcome makes for a boring story; however, if you have a written work where the main character shows themselves to be human and falliable. It creates something that the reader can empathize with so that they will feel invested in the outcome of the narrative. de vagorum ordine dico vobis iura
