Moderate parties with broad appeal are always going to be the biggest, and it often makes sense to pick the one that's closest to you and support it. The Republican party, and the actions of individual elected members often piss me off, but I still support it. This Tuesday I'm voting for the republican candidates for US representative, and Governor of Ohio, but I'm throwing a third party a protest vote in the senate race. Mike DeWine has pissed me off for the last time, we might as well have a democrat if that's the best republican we can get for the job.
