My family goes all out for Christmas. It's always been a big ordeal. Lights, a nice tree, decorating the house, food, sweets, etc. And lots (and I do mean lots) of presents. On Christmas morning, we gather around the tree and presents and eat breakfast. We take pictures and video-tape, etc. Then we begin. We do one present at a time, going around and passing this and that out. So the whole ordeal can take a few hours. Afterwards, we smile at what we got (and secretly make plans on what to take back) and then chill out the rest of the day. Usually, the entire family (aunts, uncles, cousins) have a big Christmas bash around Christmas...but I rarely go because they're a bunch of fuckin' white-trash drunks who view me as the black-sheep because I'm "weird" and went to college and am the only one who hasn't had two children by 19th birthday. Go figure...
