What difference does either side of the argument make anyway?
What worries me most of the time is that the same people Werther is bitching about are the same people that skip entry level and go directly to middle management positions in corporate America, mind you, having no management skills, no people skills, and only knowing how to lie to get by, not to mention that the same likely don't even know how to balance their checkbooks or read a map on their own, hence my disgust and my exit from the corporate world, never to return unless absolutely necessary to life and death. I'm not saying EVERYONE is like that, though in my experience, I have seen some horrifying things.
Yes, not getting kudos when you feel you have worked hard isn't fun.
And Werther, no need to be on a high horse, so come down before you get a nose bleed. "Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people."---C. G. Jung |
