We've got Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day all crammed together, and then nothing until, like, May. And if a holiday is part of your religion, no matter what that religion is, your employer is not allowed to discriminate against you by making you work. Jewish people are most commonly known for getting extra holidays here.

How many vacation/personal/sick days and holidays do you get in the Netherlands? And is that one of the countries where people are accustomed to working less than 40 hours per week?
