Honestly, I think youre wrong. On his legacy anyway. He isnt sharp thats for sure, but he surrounds himself with sharp people which mitigates that.
His intellect will not be remembered, his actions will though and so will history.
He did a lot in his presidency what with fighting terrorism and as that becomes a bigger problem in the future he will be looked at favoribly for fighting it.
He wont turn into what Clinton is, Clinton went out with good ratings, but no accomplishments. And he left a lot of problems. This is why his legacy is unraveling and he will be known as the loser who got impeached for a blowjob and who was busy chasing tail for 8 years.
Bush will fare much better, even if he is unpopular right now.
Lincoln was INCREDIBLY unpopular while he was president, he fucking used military against civilians and I am not talking about the war. Yet he went down as one of the greatest men ever.
