The world screws us, fucks us up, and then leaves us to our own wants. This place that we live isn't perfect, in the very least. We understand nothing of the truth, and that which we could understand is hidden.
Our lives seem to be a waste when looking at the little things that we have done, but when the big picture is seen, what we have accomplished is amazing. Some of us don't think we have a purpose, but just existing is good enough.
Suicide is the easiest and fastest way to deal with a problem. I have believed most of my life that it is better to end that which we hate, than to live in anguish. Why hate the life one is living, when the problem can be solved so simply. Unfortunately, many disagree with this logic. They think that suicide is a cowards way out, when really, it takes a lot of guts and courage to do.
The "Gothic" way of dressing and acting has been misportrayed for years. Unfortunately, many think that if you like black, and wear it a lot, you are gothic. This isn't the truth, though. I have always loved the color black, although technically it isn't a color, it is the lack of color. But just because someone likes a certain color, it should not imply what their beleifs are.
My personal beliefs, in the way of god, heaven, hell, and the devil, are that none of them exist. I suppose it is a nice fantasy for those of us who need something to make our lives have meaning. I personally think that if their was a god, then free will and fate would not both exist. If there was a devil, our world would be even more fucked up than it is. Heaven and Hell are just arguments to get children to do what their parents ask of them. It is along the same lines as Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. They don't exist. |
