Science places (museums, for instance) should exhibit science, and the churches should exhibit faith. Problem solved.
I personally don't see the conflict between the idea that man evolved (or how that can be denied, although origin is questionable) and the idea that a force (God) was behind the whole thing. But it gives people something to do, I guess. And we do seem happiest when we have something to complain about!
