you know, i hate to admit it, and i don't want to sound like i'm sucking up or anything, but i do thinj billy hit it right on the head. you see, there might be a way to peacefully resolve the conflict. but it would be a quick fix. the only way we can be sure radical islamists aren't around to threaten our way of life anymore is by eliminating them all. not only them, but those that are most likely to become them. afterwards, we need to follow up with government sanctioned book burnings, repression, and whatever is necessary to stomp out islam in a generation. i have nothing against islamists or their religion, in fact, i think islam is in many respects a better religion than christianity (i am neither). but the fact remains that a few douchebags have ruined it for the rest of them. we, as human beings, are morally obligated to save ourselves and then save others. allowing ourselves to be annihilated is the worst possible evil. therefore, we have to get them before they get us. the west has the power to end this, now, in no more than a few generations. the costs of such total global genocide (or would it be religiocide?) may be catastrophic, but the costs of allowing ourselves to be defeated would be far worse. don't trick yourself into thinking that radical islamists wouldn't push a button and kill every non-muslim alive today, if they could. don't fantasize about moderate muslims shedding a single tear over our bodies. they are the real losers, however, because they did nothing wrong but must suffer the consequences of the actions of those representing their religion. end of story. billy the kidd, i salute you, and everybody else, hopefully my little hate speech will prove more convincing...
