Furthermore, the War in Vietnam did not result in meaningful peace and that is the same kind of war that we are facing now. There are no clearly defined goals or a central regime to crush: So what we are left with is the fact that attacking without precision, coherence and with any attempt to make the moderates understand that it's not them that we are after: We create a War with an enemy that multiplies itself and cannot be subdued as easily as the Axis Nations with their uniforms, stated goals and clear identity. Or a conflict that can be resolved as easily as demanding and fighting for our freedom from British rule.
On that note; your admitted desire to carpet bomb civilian areas or to possibly even use Nuklear Weapons only shows your true colors. The declaration that this is already The Third World War is little more then an excuse for the carnage and destruction that will ensue if we continue to conduct ourselves without fully considering all the alternatives. However, you will also notice that I never said anything about trying to open a dialogue with the Extremists in this War: I am well aware that that is a useless endevour.
I'll just leave it at that.
