That's right. sixxx knows something. I don't see eye to eye with him on a lot, but I think he's a pretty intelligent person.

I guess one of my points was that I feel like the US as a whole could suffer repercussions from this rather than the Catholic Church specifically or the Pope or Vatican City itself. I don't like to think that the Pope is speaking for all non-Muslim people and that in the eyes of Islam I could be getting lumped together with everyone else that would fall under that blanket, especially since I let go of Catholicism before I really even got started in it (my family changed churches as a kid).

By the way, I would think genital torture is a whole other thread, guys.
