Firstly, I'm glad you're talking about this all in a pretty candid & friendly way.
I still think you don't need religion to act or be fundamentally good. I am good! And my boyfriend isn't religious and he's even gooder than me. He's sponsored child for goodness sakes and he's gone the last 3 days without lunch because he's too poor.
