I was trying to marry the the guy's idea of not having any specific desires with his desire to advance Evolution. I think that if an individual has no passion, he will not advance anything. One could argue that a life of purely practical choices would bring success, but, speaking from personal experience, I don't know that it's possible for someone to make practical decisions every time they do not correspond to his desires. |
