Common sense, well that is your opinion ;-)
For me common sense is realising that you can be religious and not push your beliefs onto others.
For me common sense is realising you can be religious and know that only you are responsible for your own actions (why else did we get free will...if we were puppets on strings there would be no challenge in choosing "good" over "bad")
For me common sense is respecting other peoples take on life (be it religious or not religious)
More athiests? Maybe, I have no idea.
