BTW, I just happen to have read something DesCartes (who is dead and can't be argued with and, therefore, must be wiser than we;-)) wrote: that people shouldn't spend time studying things that can't be foreseen to have definite conclusions. Descartes equates meditation on indefinites as lazy thinking, as settling for notions instead of nobly fighting one's way to something conclusive that can be added to man's body of knowledge. I would like to ask DesCartes how one would find the begining without haveing some notion of the end?
