i suppose it could be blamed on the rising age of aquarius?
I'm not holding my breath or pooh-poohing that. I think on some level the consciousness level could be being raised to the point that people are really starting to question things, with the more aware actively seeking answered to those in complete denial beginning to feel uncomfortable. My own eclectic belief system would support this idea of something going on.

the roman catholics are training more priests in exorcism to counter the uprising of hell and save the world.
I just got a flashback from the movie (The Exorcist) in my head...the part when Father Karras is in the room with Regan and she begins talking like his mother.... "Dimi, why you do this to me, Dimi? Why?"

I was reading some interesting things about exorcism a while back in terms of it being psychologically cathartic for some people who perhaps aren't even actively religious.

I also wonder what this will do to the Christian religion as a whole. Could it overtly display the animosity between the Catholics and the Protestants again? That would almost be like history unraveling itself. I often think if Jesus was alive and could see what people do "in His name" he'd have a fit. I mean, if any of the stuff that is written is what he allegedly said, he was a pretty good teacher. So was Buddha, et. al. They all had something to say, and it's pretty simple, and it's too bad that more people didn't really listen then. It could have changed some attitudes. More people could have been at that questioning stage already, although if the Aquarian Age theory is true, then things are happening right on time. I don't think there are really any ways to determine who is right on all this type of stuff.
