I guess this means I don't need to wash my car, and that I'd better run into the City (NYC) and go museum-hopping one more time. DUH.
They've been saying things like this since who knows when, most likely since the Book of Revelation was written or before. I don't think it helps anyone. I know it didn't help me as a child; being exposed to such things religiously lead to nightmares, fears, etc., thus leading me to question my faith and everything surrounding it, so I suppose it turned out for the best, because I have grown and decided that that sort of organized religion and terrorism is not for me, and that there are other ways of thinking about spirituality.
