That would only help so much though. I do agree however. I dont buy the drill ANWAR and all is saved argument, nor do I buy the we arent saved if we drill ANWAR so dont drill at all argument.

We need to expand on our refineries and drilling while trying to convert as much of our infrastructure to new energy sources as we can.

The problem right now isnt that gas is scarce its that weve peaked in oil production, and demand is still increasing because of growing populations.

Gas is only going to get more expensive, wars will be fought over access to oil, and our economy will eventually begin to crumble since transportation will become much to expensive for the ordinary person.
