That would have been a good passage to use in a previous debate with a self-declared Christian who once frequented this board. He stated that aside form belief in Christ as savior, nothing else needed to be done.

Therefore, a pious Buddhist who strove to help others and never did any harm would go to hell for being non-Christian, but a multiple murderer who found God prior to execution would be saved.
