hey, i wasnt being a bitch. i was only stating that i cant name a new pet after one that has died. because then it seems like the new pet is a replacement for the old one and i dont like to do that. 'replacing' animals with a new one with the same name doesnt feel right to me. Lenore was special to me. i want her to be the only cat named Lenore that i ever own.
your suggestion wasnt a bad one, it just isnt right for me.
i wouldnt feel right getting a new cat just to help me get over losing another one. if and when i get a new cat, i want it to be because i want to adopt another cat simply to give it a loving home, and a good life.
