and FWI, buying animals from breeders doesnt guarantee you have a healthy one. its rather common to buy an animal from a breeder and discover that it has congenital defects/major health issues.
besides, it truly is better to adopt an animal in need than to buy an animal from someone who is mass producing them.
it just comes across extremely rude an insensitive to tell me to 'go buy another fucking cat'. she wasnt just any cat. it would almost (notice i say 'almost') be like your girlfriend dying and then having me tell you to just go get another fucking girlfriend. granted, the kitten and i were not romantically involved, but family is family. |
