they finally did it! a movie about Karla Homolka is comin' out soon. it had it's pre-show thingy a few months back, in canada nonetheless!!!!! pissin' lots of people off up there!

anywho, for those who don't know, Karla Homolka was the wife of convicted serial rapist and serial killer Paul Bernardo.......to keep it short and to the point, she played the system, said Paul did it all, said he abused her, made her do things she didn't want to, and as a plea deal, she got 12 yrs in a mental institution if she'd testify against her husband.....she did.....HERE'S THE KICKER: during Bernado's trial (some years after Karla's) his lawyer up and quit because he had in his possession tape police failed to recover from Paul and Karla's home; tapes featuring Paul and Karla doin' some rather horrible nasty things to teenage girls.........now, because Karla already got sentenced for the whole ordeal, they couldn't legally take her back to court!!!!! Paul got life, Karla basically got away with it...

this was huge....pissed off so many people, actually forced Canada to rewrite its court's laws, even Bernardo's lawyer got fucked for turnin' over evidence after acceptin' Bernado as a client....

anywho, Karla Homolka just got released last June (or July).....so no wonder they made a flick about her....

it has Laura Prepon (Donna from "That 70's Show") playin' Karla.....

the acting seems like it might be terrible, but doesn't matter.....i'll be there at the theaters openin' night.....

since her release, police, detectives, etc. have stopped at nothing to throw Karla back in prison.....they constantly proclaim that she's breaking her conditions of release: consorting with her lesbian lover, a fellow inmate, and baby sitting children, and yaddah, yaddah, yaddah....it was so bad in fact that just last week a judge had to interfere and state that since Karla was actually convicted of manslaughter and not first-degree murder, and she has done her time until her release, that she is no longer subject to any restrictions of any kind....she simply is another citizen......

lots of controversy with this one.....i just hope the movie is good......
