Unlike a lot of disgruntled folks, I really like my family, and enjoy having the chance to gather with them and eat good food. I also like whipping their asses in a game of Pitch or Rummy, but thats because I'm a freak for anything played with a deck of cards.

Anyway, this year I had planned to make the 2 hour trek to my mother's house on Thanksgiving morning, stay til the evening and drive home. However on Wednesday night the powers that be decided to say "FUCK YO PLANS NIGGA" as i became wracked by abdominal pain and spent the rest of the night fighting off the waves of nausea/cramps. Needless to say, when I "woke up" the next morning the pain had stopped but my system was far too weak to drive to my family's house, so I stayed home and watched movies.

Luckily a few friends of mine were doing their own little thanksgiving dinner, and said I could stop by for their food, which I did, and the food was great, but it only took a few forkfuls before the desire to vomit came back over me, and I wasn't able to partake of the feast as I would like.

Its DEPRESSING! Only once a year do I get to gorge myself on my family's cooking, and I had to miss out on it this year. There's usually a pretty good dinner at Christmas, but its never the same. Christmas dinner doesnt carry the guilt of millions of slaughtered indians, and we all know that nothing goes with Turkey and Cranberries like white guilt. Delicious.
