I have a question:

Why is it that I always see Jews do this: "G-d"

I understand that you're not allowed to speak or write God's name, but dude, that's not his name. His name is Yaweh, not God. God is a title so that you actually have something to call him, isn't it? So if you can say the word "god" why can't you write it? Just curious...
