all the philosophy books Ive ever read were tediously unimprssive and grossly unenlightening. anything good said in them was so obvious, and most everything else was clearly nonsense spewed out by someone who hadnt seen their ideas applied in real life situations.

From your response I am guessing you never had to work too hard, or had to fend for yourself. INtellectually farmwork is beneath me, most archaic 18th century livlihood crap is.

by the way sex is good and fire hurts isnt philosophical. And yes the evil white males did invent what we call philosophy, it began with the Greeks. Why? Because they were advanced enough to farm and build cities and schools. The rest of the world sans maybe the Chinese who were also farming and building cities and schools were busy eeking out a miserable little life trying to survive. THOSE conditions are not conducive to building higher learning of the cosmos and other gay waste of time crap.
