It is, in the long run, a benefit to not only America but to many other countries. A dictatorship is beneficial to no one except the dictator. Economic and social stability in a country like Iraq will allow the whole world to reap some pretty stellar benefits, not to mention putting more than a few people at ease. I don't support death of anyone, but I'm logical enough to realize there are shitty consequences to every endeavor.
And by your logic, anyone who supports a war supports the death of those fighting it. What a load of crap. Ever war has casualties. If it wasn't for the casualties in a little war called THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, we'd be eating tea and crumpets with our yellow teeth about now. If it wasn't for the casualties in THE WAR OF YANKEE AGRESSION, I'd be beating my darkies about now. Being dead must suck. But if you commit yourself to the military, you're committing yourself to possible death and war.
