i was called goth in that kind of way when i was wearing a misfits tshirt, patched punk jeans and had electric blue spiked hair.
go figure.
also the "im goth" and the "im chav" thing i've noticed is opposite. chavs will do everything they can to deny being chav, but wannabe goths will do everything they can to say and prove they are goth. (theres no proving with a chav as they usually don't have the intellect.)
