September Poem of the Month Winner:
World of Sorrow
A wilderness of bliss,
In this garden-world of pain, alive
A kiss revealed all this,
As my world of sorrow died
To howl and moan and hiss,
At the sex and greed we find
To pain I’ll not submit,
Becoming sight among the blind…
…A paradise of vice,
In this underworld of love, decayed
Scar me twice, a lover’s price,
The pure of heart must pay
Feed on greed and sacrifice,
Our union falls away
Mistrusted lust our sole device,
And the bringer of all pain
