it reminds me of what is going on in Iraq at the moment!

No doubt Saddam Hussein was a dictator, and no doubt he didn't treat his poilitical opponents very well. However, he was elected, and he wasn't a threat to anyone but his immediate neighbours.

so why has America and Britain repeated the same mistake they made in WW2?


Like Hitler, Saddam loved his own people, and when I say his people here, I mean the Sunni Muslims in Central Iraq. Obviously the Shias and Kurds he didn't treat very well.
