So speaking the truth makes one homophobic? So if i say that statistically black people are more likely to be poor or working class does that make me a racist? The doctor was simply relating a truth she learned tyhrough her years as a sexual health clinic practioner. That I shouldnt freak out so bad because It isnt likely that I got HIV, becuause its harder for me to get a s a hetero white male than say a gay person or a drug user, there is nothing discriminatory about this, its common sense.
By the way i asked my regular doctor about this too and he agreed with the sexual health clinic doctor. He said that It doesnt mean I should take risks, but that it tends to be a disease focused on gays and drug IV users.
Again I know itsnot PC to say this stuff, but that doesnt make it true. And I would take my Docs word over a bunch of forum moderators.
