SH2 was pretty good, but I think it fell a bit short of the original as far as story went, though the creepy factor definitely went up a couple of notches. SH3 is a direct sequel of the first one. I haven't tried 4 yet, as I've heard mixed reviews of it. I might pick it up as a rental though, considering how slim the pickings of new games this summer are.
